Dec. 22, 2008 age 86 yrs. Beloved husband of Sally nee D’Amico. Wonderful father of Jim Nancy Bernier, Claude Carol Bernier, Michael Cheryl Bernier and Dan Susan Bernier. Preceded in death by his father Claude, mother Anna nee-Rigoski and brother Donald Bernier. Grandfather of Richard, Julie, Andrea, Nathan, Brian, Keith Jennifer, Andrew, Mary Kate, and Natalie. Great-grandfather of Alex and Lydia. Brother of Jeannette Herb Weber. Brother-in-law of Marian the late Jack Berger. Son-in-law of the late Carmella D’Amico. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many beloved friends. Visitation Sat. Dec. 27th, 9:45 am until time of Funeral Mass at 11 am at ST. JOHN THE EVANGELIST CHURCH, 8500 W. Coldspring Rd. Entombment Holy Cross. Richard retired after 46 years of service from Kearney-Trecker, a member of the K-T Retirees Club, was a charter member of the West Allis Knights of Columbus #3095, a volunteer at Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center and was a WWII Veteran of the US Army-Air Force, 6th Corps. A special ‘thanks’ to WA Memorial Hospital for their care.
