Richard “Smiley” Wendlandt

Richard “Smiley” Wendlandt was born June 22, 1953 to Moxy and Milly Wendlant who preceded him in death.

Smiley was the loving father of Ricky (Tammi), Sandra (Will), Joanna (Dennis) and Crystal (Bret). He was the beloved grandfather of Christine, Dennis, Braydon, Jason, Matthew, Bella, Elijah, Nova, and Mason. He was the dear brother of the late Walt, Sandy (Arnie), Peter (the late Peg), Linda (Steve), the late Jimmy, Bonnie, Johnny (the late Barbra), Shirley (Doug), and Mary (Erick).

Smiley’s passion was home remodeling and he spend much of his time with The Corp with his friend, Chuckie. He also enjoyed fishing, camping and hunting.

Smiley loved to live his life free as a bird. He was the most genuine, loving person you could ever meet. He will be dearly missed.

In keeping with Smiley’s wishes, the family will have a private gathering to Celebrate his life at a later date.
