Rick Montgomery

Passed away Sunday, December 31st, 2017 at the age of 56 years. Survived by his loving wife Kristie, his 4 legged kitties: Taz, Yoda, Dusty and the late Ziggy and Ida. Step-father to Jamie (Ken). Father to Chad (Bridget) and Michelle (Justin). Papa to Hudson, Sullivan, Clifford, Eric, Abigale, Ethan, Hayleigh, Anna, Maggie, Riley and Emery. Son-in-law of Marilyn and the late Henry. Brother of George Patty), Sam (Diane), Teri, and Sue (Gene). Brother-in-law of Joe (Debbie), Tom (Sue), Michael (Kathy) Carolyn (Kenny), Connie (Fred), Mark (Kim), Janell (Scott), Bob (Ginger & Abby, Rick’s favorite 4 legged pups) and Tim. Rick is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, great family and friends.

Rick was in his happy place when we were at the lake house island living. He loved fishing, hunting at Pick & Save (lol), his Coors Light, Catching big stinky carp, campfires… big ones, gardening, flowers, remodeling and grape Gatorade. Rick was a die heart Steelers fan, but mamma let him know who was the best!! The Packers!!

Rick served in the US Navy for 4 years, was a lifetime member of the VFW Post 1754 Pennsylvania. He was employed by the United States Postal Service for 34 years. Rick’s family wishes to thank the caring staff of St. Luke’s Hospital.

A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, January 6th, 2018 starting at 11am followed by a funeral service starting at 2pm.
