Passed away peacefully on Friday, May 13, 2016 at the age of 94 years. WWII Navy Veteran and longtime resident of Milwaukee. Beloved husband for 63 years of the late June (Nee Biermann) Bonis. Loving father of Russell, Beverly (David), Michael (Susan) and Tony (Cindy). Proud and loving grandfather of Lori (Michael), Jon, Joe, Josh, Maggie, Ben (Jamie) and Chad (Caitlin). Great-grandfather of Jonathon Bonis, Jonathan Anderson, David (Anderson) and Grayson (Keener). Dear brother of Margie (Bob) and the late John (Florence). Further survived by other nieces, nephews and dear friends.

Robert (Bob) worked for the telephone company for 39 years and enjoyed his retirement years playing golf (until he was 92), following his grand kids in school activities, traveling and watching his favorite past time of baseball.

Visitation will be held at the Funeral Home Wednesday, May 18th from 4-6PM followed by a short service. Private entombment at Mount Olivet Cemetery. Special thanks to the staff at Froedtert Hospital and Season’s Hospice.
