Robert Charles Maertz

Robert Maertz, age 74, of Brookfield WI, passed away on March 2, 2012 at Aurora Zilber Family Hospice in Wauwatosa, WI.

Robert was the son of the Joan nee Jendusa and Joseph Maertz. On April 2, 1994 he was united in marriage to Sylvia “Sally” nee Dahlby.

Robert served in the U.S. Army in 1961. He worked at Milwaukee County for 27 years as a social worker, retiring in 1992.

He was an active member of the Vagabond Ski & Social Club and the Eagle’s Club. Robert and Sally enjoyed boating, traveling with friends and family, and playing tennis.

Robert is survived by his brother, William, nieces Banessa & Victoria, nephew Bret, a gran nephews and gran nieces, and two step children, Pamela Tesch and Gregory Saunders. Robert deeply loved his wife, family and friends. He is greatly missed and forever in our thoughts.
