Budnik, Robert J. “Bob”.
Passed away July 9th, 2015 at the age of 90. Loving husband of the late Eulalia (nee Michalak). Dear father of the late Karen Ann (the late Allen) Horst, John (Christine), and Lizbeth (Kent) Werner. Grandfather of Brian (Jen), the late Selena, Megan (Christian), Jocelyn (Chris), Andy, Kait (Marcin), Eric, Marcus, and Ryan. Further survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Visitation will be held Friday July 17th, 2015, 9:00am- 9:45am at St. John the Evangelist, 8500 W. Cold Spring Rd, Greenfield, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am. Private interment to follow.
Bob retired from Motor Castings Co. after 45 years. He enjoyed playing dartball, and belonged to the 55 plus Senior City Dartball League, and the Catholic Blue and Gold Dartball League. Bob also loved playing cards, reading, and puzzles. Bob proudly served in the US Army 70th Infantry Division “Trailblazers” during WWII, and was a Bronze Medal recipient. He was a member of the American Legion Gold Star Post 0505, and VFW Post 2904.
Special thanks for the care he received at the VA Medical Center and Luther Manor, where he made many friends. Bob was known for making people laugh and smile.
