PESTKA, ROBERT L.
Age 63. Of Racine. Died Friday, January 31 in Milwaukee, WI. Born April 24, 1939 in Ontonagon, MI to Peter and Rose nee Stefanich Pestka. He was married to Maureen nee McKenna on June 29, 1957 in Niagara Falls, NY. He worked as a hammer man at Unit Drop Forge in West Allis, WI for 37 years, retiring on October 1, 2002. He is survived by his wife Maureen, daughter Deborah Jon Krogh, sons Robert Cathy Pestka, Michael Pestka, and Edward Beth Pestka, his mother Rose Pestka of Milwaukee, sisters Joanne Hawkins of Alaska, Susan John Ketchum of Menomonee Falls, his brother John Pestka of Shawano and grandchildren Steven and Christy Krogh and Brayton and Delaney Pestka. Other survivors include his brother-in-law Michael Bonnie Mckenna, sister-in-law Kathryn Ballard, nieces, nephews, relatives, childhood friends, co-workers and golf partners. He was preceded in death by his father Peter Pestka, niece Sherri Hawkins, his father and mother-in-law Francis Agnes McKenna, his brother and sister-in-law Frank Mary McKenna and sister-in-law Mary McKenna. Funeral servcies will be held Monday, February 3 at 7:30 PM at the Funeral Home. Visitation Monday 4-8 PM. Interment Tuesday, February 4 at Southern WI Veterans Cemetery, Union Grove.
