Robert M. Burgmaier

Lost his courageous battle with cancer on Thursday, March 6, 2008 at the age of 61 years. Loving husband of Mary nee Palubicki. Dear dad of Robert P. and Leonard J. Cherished grandpa of Hayden, Cody and Marisa. Son of the late Robert and Verna “Butch”. Brother of Joan “Suzette” Bill McDonnell and Tom JoAnne. Grandson of the late Joseph Burgmaier and the late Louise Thaldorf. Son in law of the late Nix and Flo Palubicki. Brother in law of Len Pete Palubicki, Danielle Burg, Patty Dawes, Francine Fitting and Margaret Burg. Special friend Bill Macki , Doug Zahn and Steve “Cash” Przybylski. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation, Monday March 10 at the FUNERAL HOME from 4-7PM with a Vigil Service at 7PM. Visitation on Tuesday, March 11 at SCHUMACHER-KISH FUNERAL HOME 200 W. Ave South, LaCrosse, WI from 5-7PM with a Rosary service at 6:15PM. Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday, March 12 at CATHEDRAL OF ST. JOSEPH THE WORKMAN-MARIAN CHAPEL 530 Main Street, LaCrosse, WI. Interment Oak Grove Cemetery.

Bob worked for many years at Goodyear/Wingfoot and loved his job. He also served in the United States Army. Bob will always be remembered for his love and passion for the Green Bay Packers, Chicago Cubs and Notre Dame.
