Thursday, April 6, 2017, age 41 years. Loving and dedicated father of Sean, Kevin, Caitlyn, Bailey and Toree. Son of Christine nee Buch (Andy) Backus and the late Robert D. Pocza. Brother of Melissa (Rod) Cordes, Daniel (Angie Hoskey) Pocza and Kristen (Brian) Machuk. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Memorial service Sunday, April 9, at 1:30 PM at St. Paul’s Ev. Lutheran Church, 6880 S. 51st St., Franklin, followed by the visitation.
Robert loved his Lord, loved his children and had a passion for fishing. True to his character, Robert’s last wish was to donate his brain to research in the hope that others may benefit. He worked for Johnson Controls on the Wisconsin Lutheran College campus, Brown Deer Schools and most recently Trinity Home Group.
He was loved and respected by his friends and coworkers.
