Robert W. “Bob – W9FFC” Schefke

Went home to the Lord on Wednesday January 30, 2013 age 74 years. Beloved husband of Karen (nee Kimpel). Dear son of the late Robert W. and the late Norma Schefke, Grandson of Robert and Hazel Schefke. Bob lived with his grandparents both in Chicago, IL and Plainfield, Wi. Brother of Richard (Lucy) Schefke of Arlington Heights, IL. Brother-in-law of Annette (Mark) Navarre, Emilie (the late Raymond) Kimpel of Arcadia, MI. Nephew of Bonnie Saathoff and Ethel Mae Steele of San Antonio, TX. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A visitation will be held on Friday February 8th, 2013 at HALES CORNERS LUTHERAN CHURCH, 12300 W. Janesville Rd, from 10:30AM until the time of Memorial Service at 11:30AM. The Rev. Keith Johnson officiating. Private interment Pinelawn Memorial Cemetery.
Bob worked many years as a fire insurance inspector. He was an avid ham radio operator and a real computer guru, fixing everybody’s problems.
