Robert “Bob” Schaller
Was born to eternal life on Tuesday, January 16, 2024, at the age of 81 and reunited with his wife Vicki of 57 years. Loving father of Jeff (Sarah) and Cindy. Dear grandpa of Jada, Eric, and Issak. Brother of William (Debra) Schaller, brother-in-law of John Flahive.
Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Bob was an accomplished commercial electrical engineer. He was an avid reader and remained active most of his life walking, traveling with Vicki, gardening and playing cards with friends. He frequently walked the most steps in his walking club.
A self described introvert, he was known by all for his smile and a wave.
The family wishes to express deep gratitude and appreciation to his brother, Bil, for his endless support, to Heartis in Brookfield, especially Abbey, for their kindness and care and to the pastors for their frequent visits and encouragement.
I’m so sorry to here of Bob’s passing. We worked together at Rockwell for many years and I continued to enjoy his company at our retirees breakfast group. He will truly be missed.
I’m so sorry to hear of Bob’s passing. I worked with Bob at Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation for many years. As a matter of fact he hand delivered my resume to the right person which helped me get my first job out of college there. He will be missed.
Bob was my favorite resident and he will truly be missed ❤️
Im sorry to hear of Bobs passing. I worked with Bob at Allen Bradley/Rockwell Automation and Bob was one of the friendliest people. Always willing to help. He will be missed
Sorry to hear about Bob’s passing. We worked together many years at Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation where life memories were made. He was very passionate about his job and wasn’t afraid to stand up for what he believed to be right. I truly appreciated his guidance and loyalty, a true inspiration, he will be missed!
I am very sorry to hear of Bob’s passing. I had the pleasure of working with him at Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation. Bob was always willing to share his knowledge and experience…. along with a little humor. He will be missed by all of his many friends at Rockwell.
Cindy, Jeff, and Family,
My sincere condolences.
I had the privilege of working side by side with Bob for many years. Many days I would give him a ride home after work (to save him that bus ride). We shared a lot about each other during these times together. In retirement he and Vickie moved very close to me, and it was convenient to carpool to our monthly PCP retiree breakfast.
He will be missed but not forgotten.
Joe
I am disappointed to hear that Bob has passed away. Bob was our commercial engineer in the early years of my time building the Rockwell Automation/Allen-Bradley MCC business of the Dallas office. Bob helped us get a successful MCC business built. I recall celebrating with Bob in the Clock Tower. Looking North out of the tower we could see Bob’s High School alma mater Tech, He was rightfully proud to have attended Tech. It is a memory I cherish from my time with RA. Bob is already being missed.
