Sharbutt, Roberta M., “Berta”
(nee Hein) Beloved wife of Kenneth. Loving mother of Nicholas (Tracey), Daniel (Andrea), and Amber Sharbutt. Dear grandmother of Austin, Avery, Daysha, and Ashanty. Sister of Lorine (Bill) Gagliano, Sharon Hein, and Roger (Lisa) Hein. Daughter of the late Richard and Eileen Hein. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation Friday, June 6th, from 4-7PM at the FUNERAL HOME, with the service to follow at 7PM.
Working at the Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center for 21 years, Roberta wore many hats, and her last assignment was as Secretary to the Chief of VA Police Services, to Chief Timothy Jantz. She was also the long standing President of the American Federation of Government Employees (AFGE) Local 0003, representing approximately 2050 federal employees, and a National Trainer for AFGE. She mentored many union officials, including her best friend, Julie Kohlhepp and her dear friend, Wayne Lauton. Nothing meant more to her than her family, the Green Bay Packers, and gardening. Special thanks to Father Norm for providing her and the family with spiritual peace and blessings. She has now been called home to be with the Lord.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to Fisher House Wisconsin appreciated.
Interment will be held privately with the family at the Southern Wisconsin Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery.
