Called home to the Lord from the River Ranch on Tuesday, August 8th, 2017 age 51 years. Beloved husband to Kim (Nee Draskovich). Dear father of the late Robert Allan. Son of Allan and Joan Plato. Brother of Frank (Kelly Kerr), Joalan (Jim) Becker, Kimberlie Howard (Robert Watford), and Bruce (Sherry Pennock). Son in law of the late Elmer and Nancy Draskovich. Brother-in-law of Terri (Mort Bailey). Uncle of Nathaniel (Jessica), Ashley (Scott), Joshua, Zach, Kelsey and Luke. Will be missed by Marco, Scooby and Puddles. Also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 14th, 2017 at the FUNERAL HOME from 4PM until the time of service at 6PM. In Celebration of Rod’s life the family requests that you wear purple.
Rod was proud to have been an active volunteer at Fox River Christian Church. If so desired memorials to the family appreciated.
