Roger “Tom” Lamping
Born to Eternal Life December 17, 2023, age 83 years. Beloved husband of Michelle. Cherished father of Mary. Dear son-in-law of Ruth Olson. Fond brother-in-law of Susan Kelm. Loving uncle of Emily (Justin), Katie and David. Great-uncle of Leah. Special “Uncle Roger” to Natalie and Lisa Veidins, and the Ramos, Saggio, and Koeller families. Further survived by his special “daughter” Linell Lasswell, many other nieces and nephews, the “Monday Night Ricardo’s Gang,” and other dear friends. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Marlene, and brothers Robert “Bud,” Ronald “Pinky,’” and Richard “Rich.”
Roger was a funeral director in the Milwaukee area for over 60 years. He was an exceptional cook and enjoyed sharing his creations either hosting friends or parceling out care packages to lucky recipients. He was very proud of his Hungarian heritage and was able to travel to Hungary many times to visit. He also enjoyed golfing, boating on the Chain Lakes, playing the 3-13 card game, and sitting listening to the music each year at Irish Fest with a cold beer in his hand.
I am very sorry for your loss, Michelle.
We are so very sorry for your loss, Mary. May your father rest in peace.
Sending our condolences and prayers during this difficult time. May he rest in peace.
My deepest sympathies to you and your family.. my heart goes out to your family in this time of sorrow.
My condolences to you and your entire family. I knew Roger through the funeral business. I worked at the Andrus Livery service that helped the funeral home he worked at. Roger was a hard worker and severed many families in his career. May he rest in peace and his memory be eternal.
My condolences to you and your family.
