Monday, November 1, 2010 age 84 years. Beloved husband of Dzidra Kuplens. Loving father of Andris Marite. Brother of Andris and Janis of Latvia and the late Ilmars. Brother-in-law of Rasma Putnins and family. Further survived by many family members in Latvia and in the U.S., other relatives and friends.
Visitation Monday, November 8 at WISCONSIN MEMORIAL PARK “Chapel of the Chimes” , 13235 W. Capitol Drive, from 10-11 am with Funeral Service at 11 am. Interment to follow.
Roland was a retired civil engineer at Milwaukee County Airport. He served as former president and member of the Latvian Church here in Milwaukee and member of Latvian Fraternity-Selonija.
