Of Franklin. Called home to the Lord on Tuesday, October 20, 2015, age 91 years. Beloved husband of Lillian (nee Barth). Dear father of Bruce (Lucinda) Kiefer and Sara Lee (Jeff) Bollmann. Loving grandfather of Seth, Kindra, Yanna, Lindsey and Daniel. Great-grandfather of 5. Preceded in death by his sisters Marion and Ruth, brother Charles, and sister in law Marilyn. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23, 2015, at the Funeral Home from 4 to 7 PM and Saturday at ST. JACOBI EV. LUTHERAN CHURCH, 8605 W. Forest Home Ave. from 10:30 AM until time of service at 11 AM.
Roland was Franklin’s first Business Man of the Year and owner/operator of Kiefer’s on 76th and Rawson for over 50 years. If so desired, memorials to St. Jacobi Ev. Lutheran Church appreciated.
