Passed away Friday, February 22, 2013, at the age of 98 years. Father of Roland(Rita) Stanley. Grandfather of Elizabeth King, Eric Stanley, and Gwen(Keith) Armbrust. Great grandfather of Helen and Mitchell King. Preceded in death by his wife Lorraine(Nee Patin).
A visitation will be held Wednesday at Holy Apostles Catholic Church, 16000 W. National Ave., from 9-10:30AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:30AM. Interment Holy Apostles Cemetery.
Roland was a pilot, mechanic, aeronautical engineer, and is listed at the Smithsonian Museum as a Pioneer in Aviation.
