Passed away peacefully on June 21, 2019 at the age of 102. Loving husband of the late Dolores for 73 years. The loving father of Mary Ann Bidwell, Diane Oman OSF, and Kathleen (Michael) Woehrer. Grandfather of William E., Michele, James II, Jason, Scott (Yvonne), Christopher (Janice), and Rebecca (Troy). Also survived by 8 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, from 10 AM – 11 AM, at San Camillo Chapel (10200 W. Blue Mound Rd.). Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11AM. Private interment Southern WI Veterans Memorial Cemetery.

Roman was a retired Captain of the Milwaukee Fire Department and was Chief of the St. Francis Fire Department.  Special thanks to the nurses, CNAs, housekeeping, and food service staffs at St. Camillus for their kind and loving care. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Ann Intergenerational Center and the Sisters of St. Francis of Assisi are appreciated.
