Ronald Fuller
Ron passed away peacefully with family by his side on July 10, 2024. He was 62 years old. He was the beloved son of Dolores and the late James Fuller. Loving brother of Char Fuller. Dear uncle of Miranda, James, and Casey Rakers. Further survived by aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Ron enjoyed boardgames on Tuesdays with his friends at Boardgame Barrister. He also had fun playing games with family and friends at home. He enjoyed camping – especially at The Wisconsin Dells. Disney World was a favorite place for Ron. He visited there many times over the years.
Ron was a loyal employee at Walmart for over 25 years where he worked in the electronics department.
I was one of those people that played with Ron at Board Game Barrister (BGB) on Tuesday nights. We did that for a number of years before COVID. We had to suddenly stop playing at BGB and I lost track of Ron. I didn’t know his last name. A number of years passed. I found out that Ron was playing games with Melissa on Tuesday afternoons at Games Universe in Franklin. I played with both of them as much as I could. However, that schedule ended when Ron had to be hospitalized. I was able to play games with Ron a couple more times when he was in rehab, but they were few and far between. I wanted to give him an opportunity to use his game muscles again. I found through all of the years of game playing with Ron that he enjoyed playing games very much, he was a quick learner of new games, and he was a very good player. He won most of the time. He was an even tempered player and a good winner. He would help new players if they needed it.
I worked with Ron for many years. He loved to share stories of his Disneyworld trips and he would always tell me what games he was playing. Ron was always cheerful and treated me with kindness. He will be missed.
I’m retired now, but I worked with Ronald Fuller at the Franklin Walmart. He was a very great associate and was always helpful, courteous and kind. So sorry for your family’s loss. And prayers sent to you all.
