Ronald “Ron” H. Horton, 70 years, of Oak Creek, WI, born to Eternal Life, peacefully passed away at his home with his family, on September 23, 2022.

He was born in Milwaukee, WI on April 14, 1952, the son of Henrietta and the late Walter Horton.

Loving and beloved husband of Christine (nee Kuhagen), nearing 48 years of marriage and raising four children together. Further survived by their three children, Ronald “RJ” (Melissa) Horton of Mesa, AZ, Nancy (Eric)
Haban of Manitowoc, WI. and Marcus (Stephannie) Horton of Mesa, AZ., and proud grandpa of Frank, Emma and Lorraine. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his mother Henrietta Horton, two sisters Joanne (the late Gerald)
Joers and Margaret (Jeffrey) Krawczyk, brother-in-law Thomas Kuhagen, sister-in-law Sandy (the late Michael) Kuhagen and many other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his father Walter Horton and his daughter Stefanie Horton, father-in-law John Kuhagen and mother-in-law Grace Kuhagen.

A visitation will be held Friday from 9-11AM at St. Stephen Church, 1441 W. Oakwood Rd.  A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11AM.

Ron was a dedicated husband, dad and grandpa who made sure everyone in his family had what they needed. He enjoyed sharing great stories, preparing appetizing meals for his friends and family and telling dad jokes.

Following graduation from Boys Tech in 1970, Ron founded Ron’s Automotive and Oklahoma Auto Sales. After 31 years of business, he transitioned to Real Estate Investing before fully retiring.

Ron was an active member of St. Joseph’s Church (Cudahy) and St. Stephen’s Church (Oak Creek). Ron cherished the friendships he made in doing activities he loved such as; riding his motorcycle and driving his Mustang, shooting sports, flying and racing remote control planes and cars, bowling and enjoying a good cup of coffee, especially with his special friend Melissa (Java Dreams Coffee Shop).

In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Stephens Bell Tower are appreciated.

    I’m sorry this is so late, as I just happened across Ron’s memorial.

    My sincerest condolences to Ron’s loved ones. I knew & worked with Ron at Southgate Ford way back in the mid-70’s, before we each went our seperate ways…he into business on his own. Ron was a driven man that was a straight shooter, but with a very kind spirit. We got along extremely and I am very saddened to learn of his passing. Again, my heart-felt condolences to each of his loved ones.
