Rosalyn L. Klocek

Klocek, Rosalyn L.
(nee Heck) of Greenfield, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 19, at the age of 92 years. She was born on February 14, 1923 to the late Leonard and the late Rose (nee Kopfhammer) Heck. She graduated from Mercy High School in 1942. She met and married Florian Klocek on April 10, 1948 and a son, Peter, was born April 5, 1949.

Rosalyn was preceded in death by her husband, Florian in July 1996, her son, Peter in November 1971, her sister, Elizabeth Kadrich in November 1963, and Helen Wilde in May 2001, who was like a mother to her.

Rosalyn will be sadly missed by her sister, Harriet Marks, along with nieces, nephews, and many friends especially Irma Peterson and Ronald Jaeger.

She worked at the Ambassador Hotel in Milwaukee and also for School Sisters of St. Francis, retiring in August 1985. After retirement she volunteered time at St. Luke’s Hospital.

Visitation will be held on Friday, at ST. JOHN THE EVANGELIST CATHOLIC CHURCH (8500 W. Cold Spring Rd.), from 10 AM – 11 AM. Mass of Christian Burial will follow. Private interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the church.

The family would like to thank Dr. Douglas Lillie for his medical care over the years. We would also like to thank the staff at Linden Grove-New Berlin and Heartland Hospice for their compassionate care during her final days.
