Passed away on Tuesday April 11, 2023, at the age of 91. Beloved wife of the late Elmer. Loving mother of James Carter Bach, and Jennifer Lee Bach. Dear grandmother of Jonathan Bach, Christine Bach. Great grandmother of Adam Bach, Elinore Bach, Adaline Bach. Sister of Hugo Jr., Susie, (Leonora), Lolly, (Delores), Caroline, Frances, Patricia, James, and John. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Preceded in death by her parents Hugo and Marie (nee Pollack) Reif.

Rose Marie’s greatest achievement was being a mom, she enjoyed gardening, feeding birds, squirrels, watching “Dateline,” “Forensic Files,” and game shows. “Little Bites” chocolate muffins were her favorite snack.

Mom was my best friend. We were a lot alike, which made things challenging at times but also incredibly wonderful. We shared so much laughter, and I loved hearing her stories about the depression, World War II, being one of the earliest women to study at Milwaukee Area Technical College, etc. She was a living history treasure trove. She nurtured me from a young age to develop my academic talents and encouraged me to be the best that I could be. She was always there for me when I needed it and made sacrifices for the sake of her children. She took pleasure in simple things like feeding the birds, and she spoiled my cats rotten. I will miss mom tremendously but am thankful for the many years we had together.
