Rosemary was born and raised in Milwaukee, 1941 graduate of Rufus King High School, and primarily mother and homemaker in Stevens Point and Merrill after marrying Stephan. After retirement, Rosemary returned to Milwaukee where she undertook another new career as a companion to home bound seniors for Medical Placement Services now Horizon. She volunteered at the West Allis Senior Center and area nursing homes.
In addition to spending time with her family, she enjoyed vacationing and traveling to many places within the US as well as in Europe with her adult children. She was especially fond of summertime in Eagle River and at the cabin in Door County. Rosemary was an avid card player, enjoyed church and ethnic festivals, and bingo at Potawatomi. She will be sadly missed by many friends. Rosemary found courage and strength throughout their life that was grounded in a strong belief in and practice of her Catholic faith. Her final gift was providing the opportunity for her family to care for her at home as she embarked on her final journey. Her family will miss her and her loving counsel and guidance.
