May 20, 2010. Loving husband of the late Harriet nee Leichnitz. Father of Daniel Diana, Diane Al Kelly, the late Jeffrey, Judith, Roland, and Sara. Grandfather of Dustin Mary, Derek Alyssa, Julie, Shaun, Michael, Alia, Taylor, and David. Great Grandfather of two. Son of George and Katheryn nee Schenmon. Ruben was one of 12 brothers and sisters. Also survived by nieces, nephews, good friends and neighbor Blake Wilke. Ruben was a dedicated employee of Benz Oil for over 25 years and a longtime member of Ebenezer Lutheran Church. Special thanks to Zilber Hospice and Christine Differt for their loving care. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Zilber Hospice or the Visiting Nurses Association appreciated.
Visitation Tuesday May 25th at the funeral home, 4:00 ? 7:00 pm, with a funeral service to follow at 7:00 pm. Interment at Highland Memorial Park.
