Of the Town of Raymond. Tuesday, September 8, 2009 age 79 years. Beloved husband of Joan nee Holewinski. Dear father of Ron Shari and Mark Patty Hetzel. Loving grandfather of Scott, Eric and Daniel. Brother of Edwin Dianne Hetzel. Brother-in-law of Bill Jean Gross, the late James Lorraine Holewinski and Mary Richard Carapata. Preceded in death by his parents Kenneth and Agnes nee Babe and his infant son Robert. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral Service Saturday, September 12, 2009 11:00am, at the FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL. Interment to follow at McPherson Cemetery. Visitation Saturday at the Funeral Home from 9:00am until the time of the service 11:00am.

Russ was proud to have served in the U.S. Army and was a volunteer firefighter in the Town of Raymond for many years. During his 20 years of retirement from the Racine Co. Highway Dept., Russ enjoyed time with his much loved grandchildren, hunting and fishing at the cabin, and many bus trips with dear friends.

The family wishes to thank Dr. Mullane and his staff, All Saints Hospital ICU, and the Raymond Fire and Rescue for their compassionate care. If so desired, memorials to Raymond Fire and Rescue Association greatly appreciated.
