Russell W. Butenhoff Jr. “Boots”

Born April 23, 1943. Age 77 from Cudahy, WI. Was born into eternal life on Thursday, January 21, 2021. Son of the late Russell and Bernice Butenhoff, Sr. Preceded in death by former wife Barbara Butenhoff (nee Urban). Survived by their children, Renee (Gregory) Parchym and Kimberly (Paul) Lentz. Loving grandfather of Amber Parchym, Patrick Parchym and Bradley Lentz. Dear great grandfather of Chandyn and Ramsey. Brother of Dennis (Cindy) Butenhoff and Beverly (Gary) Gillespie. Also survived by Partner Victoria Allison any many other relatives and friends.

Russ proudly served in the Wisconsin Army National Guard for 18 ½ years. He worked for many years as a mechanic at Brink’s Armored Car. As a beloved hobby Russ played Santa and volunteered most recently at the Salvation Army. Prior to the pandemic he was a zoo pride volunteer at the Milwaukee Co. Zoo, working as an educator for the Kohl’s Wild Theater. A private family service was held. Memorials to the Milwaukee Co.
