Cook, Russell W., “Buddy”

Passed away on Sunday, January 4th, 2015, at the age of 89. Beloved husband of Yvonne (nee Kouo) for nearly 66 years. Caring Dad of Dennis (Joallen), Brian (Luann), and the late Cheryl (Craig) Pfeiffer. Grandfather of Mellisa (Michael) Weber, Dan (Dawn) Cook, Jacqueline (Jon) Williams, Conner, Cody, and Cameron Pfeiffer. Great-grandfather of Samantha, Sarah, Mikayla, and Lauren. Son of the late William and Alma. Brother of the late Bobby (the late Florence), and Ralph (Jan). Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Memorial visitation to take place on Thursday, January 15th, from 3-6PM at the FUNERAL HOME. Memorial service to follow at 6PM. Private interment Southern Wisconsin Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery.

Russell was an employee of Allis Chalmers for over 40 years. He proudly served in the US Marines during WWII, operating in the Pacific Theater where he met his wife Yvonne.
