Passed away Mon., Nov. 11 2013 at the age of 95 yrs. Beloved wife of the late Joseph W. Schenk. Loving mother of Carlene (Herb) Effinger, Diane (Tim) Hanley, Robert Schenk, Laureen (Greg) Dashek. Dear grandmother of Craig, Duane, Brian, Nadine, Cheryl, Mary Kay, Jeanne, Daniel, Cindy, Jeff, Jennifer, and Karen. Great-grandmother of 21 and great-great-grandmother of 5. She is survived by sister Katherine Graske. She is preceded in death by her loving friend Joseph Gaar. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Fri. at St. Matthias Catholic Church at 12PM (9306 W. Beloit Rd). Visitation will be held Fri. at the church from 10-11:45AM. Interment to follow at St. Matthias Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials would be appreciated to St. Matthias Catholic Church.
