Janke, Ruth G.,

Born January 5th, 1939, and taken home to Heaven on December 23rd, 2015 at the age of 76.

She was the daughter of the late Edgar and Bernice Mittag, wife of the late Donald Janke. She is survived by sister June Murphy, her children Mark, Linda Moshinski and Lauri (Kevin) Potter, several nieces and nephews, her grandchildren Traci (Alex) Savath, Lisa (Tim) Brockwell, Joel, Brandon, Nicole, Collin, Abigail and Jackson, and great-grandchildren Natali, Elli and Veronica.

Ruth worked in the business office at Wisconsin Lutheran High School for several years. She also worked at the Vision Clinic in West Allis.

Ruth sang in the choir at St. John’s for many years and loved spending time with family, baking, and doing crossword puzzles.

Visitation will be held from 10AM-11AM on Wednesday, December 30th with the service at 11AM at ST. JOHN’S EV. LUTHERAN CHURCH, 6802 W. Forest Home Ave. in Milwaukee.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. John’s Ev. Lutheran Church, Wisconsin Lutheran High School or Wisconsin Lutheran College greatly appreciated.
