Born to Eternal Life on Monday, October 27, 2014, age 55 years. Beloved husband of Greta J. Bartholomew (nee Kountz). Son of William (Doreen) and the late Karen Bartholomew (nee Medrow). Brother of Tod (Lori) Bartholomew, Lynne Canzoneri and Michael (Diana) Bartholomew. Son-in-law of William Kountz and Janice Schendel. Cousin and good friend Jay (Terri) Bartholomew. Also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
A graduate of UWM in mass communications, Scott’s “gift of gab” took him to radio stations in Ft. Atkinson, Sheyboygan, Green Bay and Milwaukee. Until his illness, Scott worked at Enterprise where he wrote, was voice and produced real estate videos for various cities.
Scott was also an avid sports fan of the Brewers, Packers, Panthers and Badgers.
His many hobbies included gardening, cooking, baking and making dill pickles that earned him red ribbons at the Wisconsin State Fair. His smoked fish and beef jerky were outstanding.
Visitation will be Thursday, November 6, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at ST. MARCUS EV. LUTHERAN CHURCH, 2215 N. Palmer St. Milwaukee, followed by the Memorial Service at 8:00 PM. Fellowship to follow at St Marcus.
The Bartholomew family would like to thank the staff at Zilber Family Hospice for the special care given to Scott and family.
