Sherwin Shayne Davids

Davids, Sherwin Shayne. Found peace on January 2, 2017 at the age of 69 years. Beloved husband of Jacqualyn (Nee Balzer) for 28 years. Loving father of Shayne Jon (Charlotte) Davids. Proud grandfather of William, Ayla, and Violet. Brother of Roderick “Butch” Davids. Preceded in death by his parents Kenneth and Minerva Davids, and siblings Kermit “Doodle”, Ronald “Son”, Rodney “Chum”, and Mary Davids. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A memorial visitation will be held Wednesday January 18th, 2017 4:00pm- 7:00pm at the FUNERAL HOME with a memorial service at 7:00pm. Sherwin was a member of the Stockbridge- Munsee Band of Mohican Indians and a U.S. Army veteran. He was also a retired English, Native American History and Native American Literature professor at Milwaukee Area Technical College.
