Caring mother of Carol Frank Broder, Susan Lawrence Schwefel, Ronald Sandy Dunn, Steven Sharon Dunn, Janis Remmen and Michael Beth Dunn. Grandmother of Frank Broder Jr., Ryan Christy Dunn, Aaron Leah Dunn, James Elyse Remmen, Sara Dr. Clint Semrau, Eric Gabrielle Dunn, Rachel Tim Stanley, Brian Schwefel, Michelle Dunn, Kayla Remmen, Melissa Remmen, Alex Dunn and Nikki Dunn. Great-grandmother of Ryan Jr., Ethan, Rogan, Sadie, Luke, Jenson, Cora, Lexi, Elijah and Preston. Sister of Gerald Krickeberg, Beverly Waid, and Marlene Wood. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by her father Walter and mother Ella Krickeberg. Brothers Gordon and Marvin Krickeberg, and sister Betty Zerba.
Visitation Thursday, June 21 from 9:30-10:45 AM at FAIRVIEW EV. LUTHERAN CHURCH, 137 N. 66th St, followed by the funeral service at 11 AM. Interment Highland Memorial Park.
Shirley’s family was her highest priority and passion next to her relationship with God. She also enjoyed sewing, making quilts, baking, cake decorating, flower arrangements, Ladies Aid and Bible study groups. Special thanks to the staff at Linden Grove New Berlin for their loving care the past 18 months. If so desired, memorials to Fairview Ev. Lutheran Church appreciated.
