Shirley Ann Laszewski

Shirley Ann Laszewski (nee: Matyasz) passed away on November 1st, 2022 at the age of 89.

Loving wife of Ronald, whom she wed on February 5, 1955. Beloved mother of Lynne (Jim) Bauer, Dr. Michael (Dr. Linda) Laszewski, and Mary (Nat) Zettel. Dear grandmother of Elizabeth (Ronnie) Dhaliwal, Joseph (Bobbi) Laszewski, Kathryn (Brad) Evans, Sarah Laszewski, Rachel Laszewski, Abby Zettel, and Katherine Zettel. Great-grandma of five. Preceded in death by her husband Ronald, her parents Michael J. and Lillian (nee Mondry) Matyasz, and her brothers Raymond and Robert Matyasz (who is buried in Belgium after losing his life in WWII).

Memorial visitation for Ronald and Shirley to take place May 26th, 2023 from 10am – 10:30am at OUR LADY OF LOURDES (3722 S 58th St, Milwaukee, WI 53220) with Mass of Christian Burial to follow.  Military honors will take place for Ron following Mass.  Private inurnment.

The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Vitas Hospice for the kind and compassionate care they provided for Shirley.

Shirley graduated St. Casimir Grade School Class of ‘46 and Riverside High School Class of ‘50. She and Ron were very proud of their children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
