Born to Eternal Life peacefully on Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at the age of 92 years. Beloved wife of the late Donald for nearly 65 years. Dear mother of Peggy (the late David) Schauwitzer. Dear sister of Elenor Spitzer.  Sister-in-law of Donna Schopf and Richard Hanley. Loving grandmother of Doug (Cassy), Dan (Hillary Colby) Schauwitzer and Patty (Tom) Nissen. Great grandmother of Olivia, Henry, Norah and Parker. Preceded in death by granddaughter Christine, brother Vernon, twin sister Nancy and brother-in-law Robert.  Further survived by nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

Visitation will take place on Monday, November 29, at Hales Corners Lutheran Church (12300 W. Janesville Rd.) from 12:30pm until the time of service at 2pm.

Shirley was proud to have been an active member of Hales Corners Lutheran Church since 1954. She was also a Sunday School teacher there for 10 years. Shirley worked at A&P Tea Company for 11 years and in the kitchen at Martin Luther High School for 16 years. She was proud to have been part of the Attic Workshop doing mission work for Hales Corners Lutheran Church.

Shirley enjoyed in her spare time; knitting, stitching, bowling and playing games with people she loved.
