Our Loving God opened his arms and took Shirl home on February 23, 2013 at the age of 88 yrs.

Beloved wife of the late James Cullen for nearly 60 years. Loving Mother of Robert (Candice) Cullen, Thomas and Mary Cullen, and Margaret (Kevin) Bakka. Nurturing Grandmother to Kimberly (Eric) Heine, Megan (Josh) Spiegel, Paul and Laura Bakka,and Kelsie Cullen. Great Grandma to Aiden Heine & AdiLynn Spiegel.
She is further survived by her cherished brother & sister-in-law Robert (Cynthia) Saxe; sister-in-Law Ruth Clare Bruno; and brother and sister-in-law John (Pat) Cullen. Lifelong friend of Darlene Danielson, many loving nieces, nephews other dear relatives and friends.

A special thanks to Janet Haas, the staff of VNA Hospice, Kathy and Alina and all the friends who helped in those last weeks for their love and care.

Visitation will be Friday, March 1 at the funeral home from 3:00 – 6:00 pm with a Prayer Service at 6:00 PM. Interment Highland Memorial Park.
