Despite her loss of breath to cancer, Sophie by all measure lived life to its fullest. Loving and caring wife of Bob, adored and devoted mother to Mike, Kevin Linda, and Rick, dedicated grandmother, precious great-grandmother, beloved daughter, dear sister, remarkable auntie, treasured great-auntie, true friend and neighbor. A sage to us all. Sophie’s resolute need for honesty made her the consummate confidante. Someone to be trusted to say what needed to be said, not just that which wanted to be heard. Always thoughtful and with real concern. May the love She shared so generously fill our hearts eternally.
A memorial gathering will be held Sunday, April 5 at the Funeral Home from 3:30 to 4:30 with a celebration of her life at 4:30pm. All family and friends are welcome. In lieu of flowers support to Sophie’s family will be humbly accepted.
