Zirbes, Sister Colette, OSF
(formerly Sister Peter Claver). Born to Eternal Life Friday, Jan. 9, 2015, age 90. Survivors include the Sisters of St. Francis of Assisi with whom she shared life for 72 years and a sister, Elizabeth Donovan. Family and friends are invited to join the Congregation on Wednesday, Jan. 14, at St. Francis of Assisi Convent Chapel, 3221 S. Lake Dr. for the following: Welcoming of the body and Morning Prayer at 9 AM. Visitation from 9:30–10:10 AM. A Time of Remembering will be held at 10:10 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM. Prayer and committal will follow at Holy Sepulcher Cemetery Chapel. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Sisters of St. Francis of Assisi Memorial Fund.

Sister Colette ministered as a librarian at Cardinal Stritch University (1970-1982) and the Salzmann Library at St. Francis de Sales Seminary (1982-1993).
