Stanley William Keeler “Bob” passed away May 23, 2021 at the age of 80 years.
Stan was born May 27, 1940 in Milwaukee, WI to Garfield & Marguerite (nee Creary) Keeler. Preceded in death by his beloved wife, Patricia (nee Schaffer) of 55 years. Blessed with three children; he is the loving father of Brian (Nancy) Keeler, Diane (Rick) Gadzalinski, and the late Allen Keeler. Cherished grandfather of Shannon (Andy) Anders. Proud great-grandfather “Bubba” to Owen, Rachel, Alison (Matt) DeFaut, Austin (fiancée Tye) and Kaitlyn. Great-great grandfather to Emerie Mae. Loving brother of Terry (the late Nyla) Keeler, Jean Zanow, and Margie (Dan) Schutten. Preceded in death by his brothers, Jim (the late Kathy) Keeler and Randy Keeler. Cherished brother-in-law of Barb Keeler, Ruth Walsh, Kim (the late Jim Gorst) Schaffer and Jeanne Schaffer. Further survived by other relatives and many friends.
Stan retired in 1998 after serving for 35 years as a City of Milwaukee firefighter. It didn’t matter if you knew him as Dad, Stan, Bob, Bubba, Stan-the-Man or Number 1…..you knew him as a wonderful human being and the world was a better place because he was in it. He truly cared about his family and friends and he never passed on an opportunity to spend time with them. A gathering was more special whenever Stan was there. He impacted the lives of so many people. He was one of the kindest and most giving people on this earth, always helping others.
You only had to meet him once to love him.
Heaven has gained a true angel. Dad, we know you are there taking care of business, listening to Elvis and probably sipping on a brandy and water with Mom and Al by your side. You will be greatly missed and “Forever in Our Hearts”.

Simply the best. Loved that Stan shared many precious moments with all of us and with my kids, Alex & Maddie….they will never forget all of the “special” prizes in their graduation cards, etc…..restaurant salt/pepper packets, sugar packets, jellies……always made them laugh and they will forever keep those fun memories of Stan in their hearts. RIP Buddy. We love you!
