Born to eternal life on Sunday, May 14th 2017 at the age of 79 years. Beloved husband of Rosemary (Nee Fohr) for 60 years. Loving father of John (Deanna), Jeffrey (Sharon), Janet (Jack), Jesse (Judi), James (Marie), and Jerry (Penny). Dear grandfather of 14 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Caring brother of Pat, Peter, Mary Ann, and Diane. Further survived by other relatives and friends. Steve was preceded in death by his brother Paul, sister Nancy, and brother-in-law Gary.
A visitation will be held Thursday May 18th from 4-7PM at the FUNERAL HOME, with a prayer service to follow at 7PM. Visitation will continue on Friday from 9-10AM at ST. STEPHEN CATHOLIC CHURCH (1441 W Oakwood Rd, Oak Creek, WI 53154), with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10AM. Interment St. Adalbert’s Cemetery.
Steve became a proud member of the Milwaukee Police Department in 1963 at the age of 25, he was assigned to district number one where he served his community for 36 years.
