    Allison and other family members,

Words are failing me right now on the news of Steve’s passing. Steve was always the quiet but insightful friend and co-worker to me at MATC. I’ll never be able to express my loss at his passing. Mary Lee and I extend our heartfelt condolences to the entire Schild family on your loss.

I worked with Steve at Braeger Chevrolet for a number of years. A great guy. Sorry for your loss.

My condolences to Allison and family.
The sad news of Steve’s passing comes with disbelief and heavy heart. I had the great fortune to meet and work with Steve during the mid-80’s at Braeger Chevrolet. Then as fate would have it, I had the honor to work alongside Steve at MATC about 6 years before our retirement. I am grateful to have been influenced by his dedication to the work at hand and passion for his student’s success. He will be missed.

I’m so sorry to hear about Steve’s passing. Steve was my instructor at MATC South for the front end and brakes course. Steve took me under his wing and was a very influential and inspirational person to me, a friend. He always made me feel like he cared about his students. I was lucky enough to have been given a short flight lesson in his plane as well. After all these years I wish I would have tried to reconnect sooner. My heart goes out to all of the family and friends. Steve, thanks!
