Went home to be with her Savior on Sunday, June 19th, 2016, age 61. Loving daughter of Thelma and the late Pastor Harris Kaesmeyer. Beloved sister of Rachel (Pastor Keith) Free, Jim (Shirley) Kaesmeyer, Dan (Sue) Kaesmeyer, John Kaesmeyer, and Pastor Mark (Alane) Kaesmeyer. Dear Aunt of Pastor Josh (Joey) Free, Pastor Caleb (Kristin) Free, Micah Free, Sarah Free, Lydia Free, Luke Kaesmeyer, Tessa Kaesmeyer, Jared Kaesmeyer, Clara Kaesmeyer, and Aubrey Kaesmeyer. Great-aunt of Ellie and Clay Free. Cherished niece of Gretchen Roesler, Greg Schlutz, and Carmen Kaesmeyer. Also survived by many loving relatives and friends.

Memorial visitation will be held on Friday, June 24th, from 3:30pm-5pm at ST. JACOBI EV. LUTHERAN CHURCH, 8605 W. Forest Home Ave, followed by memorial service at 5pm. Private committal at Good Hope Cemetery.

Susan graduated from Eastern Michigan University, and spent her life as an educator and care-giver. She loved her family, her church, and music.

Memorials to the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod Home Missions, American Cancer Society, or St. Paul’s Lutheran Church and School in Saginaw, Michigan appreciated. Also, friends and family are invited to a meal at St. Jacobi after the service.
