Key, Suzanne ?Sue? nee Ketcham
Of East Troy found peace Saturday October 5, 2002 at Kiwanis Manor Nursing Home at 74 yrs. Born to parents Robert Raymond Ketcham and Cherry nee White on October 5, 1928 in Illinois. She attended Mukwonago H.S. and then UW Whitewater. On June 24, 1950 she married her late husband Robert Walter Key at St James United Methodist Church, East Troy and made a homestead on their farm in East Troy in which she has been a resident for over 50 yrs. Aside from being a home maker, Sue also worked as a waitress, for many of the East Troy area establishments. She was a member of the Sundial Garden Club, East Troy Women?s Club, MOMS, Lafayette 4-H General Leader, Alpha Sigma Alumni, St James United Methodist Church and Valley View Community Church.
Sue is survived by four children: Gregory of East Troy, Luanne Wayne Erikson of Washington State, Loretta Ken Meinel of Elkhorn and Roberta Marty Zess of East Troy. Six Grandchildren: Garrett, Tyler, Bryant, Mike, Dave and Chelsea. A Twin Sister: Jean of Florida. A Step sister Clara Jane Burchill of Illinois. Other relatives and friends also survive her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband and one sister Enid Lucas.
A Memorial service will be held Wednesday October 9, 2002 at 7PM with a visitation from 5:30 PM until the time of service. All at ST JAMES UNITED METHODIST CHURCH 2945 W. Main St. East Troy. Pastor Joan Goebel Officiating.
In lieu of flowers memorials to Kiwanis Manor appreciated.
