Born to Eternal Life Thursday, October 29, 2009 at the age of 88 years. Beloved husband of the late Helen nee Evanich and the late Catherine nee Beaudry. Loving father of Jean Tom Herrling, Joe Cindy Freitag and Carol Jerry Jarmuz. Dear grandpa of Carrie Herrling, Amy, Erik Karla, Ryan and David Freitag, and Laura Jarmuz. Great-grandpa of Tyis Freitag. Preceded in death by 11 siblings. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives on the West Coast and friends.

Memorial Gathering will be held Friday at SAN CAMILLO, 10200 W. Bluemound Rd., from 10:00 – 11:00am with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00am. Private Family interment Pinelawn Cemetery.

Sy was born and raised in Idaho. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII in Texas. Sy married Helen, settled in Milwaukee and worked for Prudential Life Insurance until he retired in 1978. In his spare time, Sy enjoyed bowling, golf, horseback riding and playing cards. If so desired, memorials to the Alzheimer’s Society appreciated. A special thank you to the staff at St. Camillus for the dedication and care.
