Sylvester Matthew Scheuller

Sylvester Matthew Schueller, age 92, passed away on February 15th at Strawberry Lane Medical & Rehab Center in Wisconsin Rapids, WI. Sylvester was born in Marshfield, WI to Joseph & Dorothy (nee Regele) Schueller on April 12, 1924. He moved to Milwaukee as a young man, and remained there until his final years. He is survived by a brother, Charles Schueller of Marshfield, WI and a sister, Arvilla (nee Schueller) Mathews of Wisconsin Rapids, WI. Sylvester was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Lorraine (nee Schueller) Guenther.

Committal Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, February 20, 2017 at Holy Cross Cemetery Chapel, 7301 W. Nash St., in Milwaukee. Ritchay Funeral Home and Suminski Family Funeral Home are assisting the family with arrangements.

Sylvester not only practiced his Catholic faith, he lived it in his life’s work and daily practice. In lieu of flowers and in keeping with his lifelong effort and desire to alleviate the suffering of the poor, memorial donations may be made to: Missionaries of Charity, 335 E. 145th Street, Bronx, NY 10451, and Catholic Relief Services, 228 W.
