Peacefully entered Eternal Life on Thursday March 8th, 2018 age 90yrs. Beloved husband of Patricia Wiese. Dear father of Nancy (John) Okolowicz, James (Rosie) Nieznanski, Richard (Valerie) Nieznanski, Susan (Rob) Brower, children of his previous marriage to the late Jean (nee Golos) Nieznanski. Further survived by 9 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by 6 sisters: Genevive Pacala, Angeline Jagodzinski, Sabina “Sally” Wysocki, Martha Jurgilanis, Clementine “Tina” Carr, Virginia Bergeson and 1 brother Edmund “Eddie” Nieznanski.

Syl proudly served as an airman in the US Navy in WWII. He retired from Allen Bradley after 33 years of dedicated service. Syl enjoyed fishing, ice skating and creating things.

Visitation will take place on Wednesday March 21st, 2018 at HALES CORNERS LUTHERAN CHURCH 12300 W. Janesville Road from 10 AM until the time of Memorial service at 11:30AM. In lieu of flowers memorials to Hales Corners Lutheran Church appreciated.
