Sylvia I. Reed (Nee Tryczak)

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 14, 2022 from 10:00AM- 11:00AM with a service at 11:00AM at St. Louis Catholic Church 13207 County Rd. G, Caledonia.

Sylvia Irene Reed, 86, went to be with her Lord on January 2, 2022. Sylvia was born to the late Otto and Sophie Tryczak in Three Lakes, Wisconsin on December 31, 1935. She attended the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point earning a degree in education and enjoyed teaching elementary school. Sylvia was a devout member of St. Louis Catholic Church attending multiple services weekly. Sylvia enjoyed reading scripture, distributing communion and leading prayers both at St. Louis Catholic Church and at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church. Sylvia had a lovely voice and brought joy through her songs to both the staff and residents at Destiny Adult Family Home. She is survived by her brother Otto (Linda) Tryczak, Wausau, WI and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronnie, three brothers, Joseph, Raymond and Frank Tryczak and two sisters Mary Gerngrohs and Sophia Wald. Visitation will be held at St. Louis Catholic Church, 13207 County Rd G, Caledonia,WI, 53108 on Friday, January 14, 2022 at 10:00 am with service beginning at 11:00 am. Deacon Keith Hansen will preside over the service. The family would like to thank Destiny Adult Family Home for the kind and compassionate care that Sylvia received during her stay at the home.
