of Cudahy. Called home to the Lord on Tue. March 19, 2013 at the age of 84 years. Beloved wife of the late Hilary. Dear mother of Michael (Kathy), Patrick (Christine), David, Jeffrey (Julie) and Thomas (Shelly) Janikowski. Loving grandmother of Sarah (Matt), Nicholas, Christopher, Veronica, Marcus, Kelly (Kelli) and Michelle. Great grandmother of Emerson, Danny and Aiden. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, April 3, 2013, 7PM at the FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday from 5PM until the time of service at 7PM.
Sylvia was a loving and patient mother of five boys. She loved quilting, traveling, cooking and golf. After putting five boys through school she pursued college herself to become an LPN with a need to always help others. Even up until recently in the nursing home, she attempted to assist the staff with the other patients. Sylvia did not know the meaning of sitting still.
