Lenga, Tait L.

It is with deep sorrow and much love that after a courageous 18 month battle, Tait L. Lenga of Greenfield, WI was called to his heavenly home on Tuesday, June 8th, 2021 at the age of 42 years. Loving husband to Diana (nee Huber) of 16 years and proud and devoted father to Ayzlin and Beckett.  Beloved son of Dennis and Nora Lenga.  Dearly loved brother of Iver (Sarah) Lenga and Nissa (Jeff) Guenther.  Son-in-law of Dan and Sue Huber, brother-in-law of Danny (Rachel) Huber and Joey (Laura) Huber.  Devoted uncle of Peyton, Josephine, Sophia, Zhana, Kalden, Abby and Caleb. Cherished nephew of Robert Remond and Kris Snead. Tait will be dearly missed by extended family and dear friends.

Visitation  at ST. JACOBI EV. LUTHERAN CHURCH 8605 West Forest Home Avenue on Sunday, June 13 from 3-6 pm.  Visitation resumes at church on Monday, June 14 from 10am until the time of Funeral Service at 11:00 am.

Tait was an avid sports fan and was so proud to be able to coach and be a part of all the sports his kids participated in. He loved watching all of his nieces and nephews play as well. Tait had a smile that could light up a room and his devotion to his friends and family were unfailing. He will be fondly remembered and loved forever.

In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made to the family to establish an education fund for his children.

Thanks to Tait’s belief in Faith and giving Faith the coaching confidence she needed in softball to believe in herself. Faith so enjoyed having Tait as her coach. She loved his enthusiastic, positive and giving attitude. He will be greatly missed.

To the Lenga and Huber families, I’m so sorry for your loss. I grew up with Tait, from kindergarten through high school, and he is a part of all my childhood memories. I’m truly sorry to hear this, and my heart goes out to all of you. It’s my hope you find comfort in the coming days and years.

May you all from strength to strength during this time. Tait and my husband Gary have known each other for years. Unfortunately due to life outside of fb they weren’t able to connect. He was in our prayers throughout his journey. You all will remain in our prayers. Sending love & light May God continue to bless your beautiful family.

    Thinking of you all,,

Tait was a high school classmate and friend, who we played softball with after. Always a smile, a great man.

God bless his family but praise Jesus his pain is gone

I love this photo of Tait. I have to share a fun memory that Tait always took care of us in the St. Jacobi canteen by bringing us chips to sell! And he was always good for a joke and a laugh. He will be sorely missed at St. Jacobi. ❤️

The Krutz family are sending prayers your way and every day for your comfort and peace along this journey . I understand on such a journey it’s hard not to question why did this happen, but we know that Gods plan is in design from the beginning and we must trust in him that he loves us and will always do what’s best for us although hard to see through grief . Tait was a good and loving man from what we know and is seated with God today with peace and tranquillity. He will always be in our hearts and blessings to your family .

Tait was a great coach always picking Alivya up when she got down on herself. He was a great mentor to alivya and a great man. He will be truly missed.

STJ wouldn’t have been the same without Tait. He made people feel welcome, comfortable and appreciated. He recognized positive things in both kids and adults. He was easy to talk to and knew how to listen and care as he listened. . He was fair and supportive even if he had a different opinion. This was a great example of a Christian man to many. We will miss how much he loved his children and spoke highly but humbly about them. We will miss seeing his smile at church or on allllllll the bleachers. Until heaven, we will remember how hard he fought and think of him fondly everytime we eat chips or see a Dew. Praying for comfort and peace for your whole family and all your upcoming firsts.
