Baker, Terese L.
(nee Marohl) Passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at the age of 44 years. Beloved wife of Aaron. Loving daughter of Dale and Patricia (nee Gradinjan) Marohl. Dear sister of Bradley (Patti) Marohl, Kent (Amy) Marohl, Todd Marohl and Kelly (Jeff) Cushman. Sweet aunt of Alex, Halie (Mason), Hannah, Molly, Chase, Lindsey (Ben), Alexa, Drake, Kelly and Cassidy. Sister in law of Kirk and Jason Baker. Daughter in law of Ellen and James Baker. Also survived by other relatives and many, many dear friends.
Someone once wrote “Time well spent leads to life well lived”. This epitomized Terese’s life to a tee. She was witty, kind and generous. Always willing to volunteer and hard working. She was the fourth in line of five children. The first daughter in the family. After three boys, mom had a girl.
Growing up on a small farm, Terese enjoyed the outdoors and country living. She was the smart one in the family. Proof of this was graduating from Bonduel High School in 1994 as the valedictorian.
From Bonduel, she moved to Milwaukee and attended Marquette University where she graduated with a degree in Clinical Science. She would stay in Milwaukee, the city she loved, for the rest of her life. After college she worked for Aurora Hospital and Northwestern Mutual. Whether it was college or work, Terese worked hard at whatever she did.
She had many friends through work and Marquette. Those friendships continue to this day. She was passionate about music enjoying many concerts with her favorites being Tom Petty and Willie Nelson. She was always the spice of the party. The sweet aunt, smartest sister, and best friend for all that knew her.
She was a free spirit. She lived a full and active life. Participating in numerous marathons, half marathons, and 5Ks around state and country. Nieces and friends partnered with her in these events as well.
It was also in Milwaukee she met the love of her life, Aaron. I think it was only natural that Terese’s love of travel matched so perfectly with Aaron being a pilot. She had traveled abroad with Aaron to Italy, Paris, Belize, Mexico, and throughout the Caribbean. In the US she loved New Orleans and had been to both coasts. In Wisconsin there were the special trips to Bayfield.
For Terese, the time was way too short but the life very much “well lived”.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 9th, 2019 at the FUNERAL HOME from 11AM-2PM followed by a Funeral Service at 2PM. In lieu of flowers memorials to the Wisconsin Humane Society or the Hunger Task Force appreciated and in memory of Terese please make a blood donation to the Blood Center of Wisconsin.

So many wonderful memories with Terese from BHS and Marquette. We would always giggle about the hideous outfits we had to wear for our choir concerts at Marquette. We sure were happy to look out and see our proud parents in the concert audience, knowing we would all be going out to eat after the concerts and would be fed well. 🙂 Rest in peace, beautiful friend.
KENT, Amy, Molly and Chase: our family is praying for you all and want more than anything for your heart to be full of memories. Your family is special to us. If we can do anything for you let us know.
We love y’all 💕
Terese was a loving, caring sister who was readily available at whims notice. We will all miss her smile, humbleness, and pure heart. See you in heaven.
Love,
Kent

“God Has Not Left You
Dear afflicted ones, so sadly bereaved, God has not left you to be the sport of Satan’s temptations. Let your sorrowful hearts be opened to receive the words of consolation from your pitying Redeemer. Jesus loves you. Receive the bright beams of the Sun of Righteousness and be comforted. Thank Him who has risen from the dead, and who ever liveth to make intercession for you. Jesus Christ is a living Saviour. He is not in Joseph’s new tomb. He is risen, He is risen! Rejoice, even in this your day of sorrow and bereavement, that you have a Saviour who sympathizes with all your grief. He wept at the grave of Lazarus, and identifies His sorrows with those of the sorrowing children. (Ellen G. White)”
Dear Family of Terese, memories of her and her Bonduel family are numerous, remembering her not only in Middle School and High School we could always count on her for her honesty and smiles, our sympathy goes out to her whole family!
I am so sorry to hear about your loss.
My heart goes out to you and your family

Terese was a wonderful, loving aunt and inspirational role model. She was smart, witty, hard working, and her grit showed in her many long runs and races. She lived life to the fullest and was caring, considerate, and always ready to share a drink and a laugh. We will all miss her dearly, and in the words of some of the little ones whose hearts she touched “We miss you Terese. Hope you’re having a good time in Heaven.”
Yes you are in our thoughts and prayers Eileen and Bob.
