She is the cherished mother of Tammy (Daniel) Walczak, John (Sherry) Peterson and Michelle (Craig) Leonard. The loving grandmother of Nicole, Becky, Tony, Michael, Meghan, John Jr., Zachary, Victor and Mindy. The proud great-grandmother of Katie, Nate, Thomas, Coltan, Macario, Jayden, Dominic, Logan and the late Saban. The dear sister of Jarris (Thomas) Palecek and Judy (Mike) Johnson. Family was everything to Thelma – she was the rock of her family and will be greatly missed.
My name is Diane (Stern) Bolger, a Melrose High School classmate of Thelmas’.. We became acquainted thru our parents, who were good friends. I have many happy memories of times spent with Thelma. I am so sad to hear of her passing, please extend my sympathy to all the family.
my mom and I were two peas in a pod, I miss her so much my heart hurts, I still want to call her and, then i catch myself picking up the phone, and remember i can’t. it hurts so bad i can’t stand it. sitting on my front porch on a nice day will never be the same again .i know your here with me mom. I will be so glad when i can see you again. i love you mom, with all my heart. I wish you would give me a sign that you are near me.
Thelma was like a grandma to me and my husband Dominique!! We even called her gran…I’m going to miss those days were I could go downstairs and talk to gran and tell her about my day and bring one of her favorite pups to see her! We will greatly miss her she will forever be in our hearts. The picture was the last picture I sent to gran.
Thelma was such a strong woman and she valued family so much. As a long time friend of her daughter, Michelle, she “adopted” me and insisted on me calling her Mom. She will be greatly missed.
To my 1st cousin Thelma.
I always will remember when we growing up.
The farm out in the country & the big old house in Melrose.
The fireworks at Clayton & Mae’s.
We did have a good time growing up.
Take care & keep up with all the relatives.
Love your 1st cousin.
